    Glidepath Installation Experience

    Hi,

I would like to share some of my "Glidepath installation experience" here, maybe this helps to improve the installation of the next version.

I tried installing Glidepath on my D: drive and noticed this fails. The installation file tries to find a file located in C:\Program Files\.... It looks like this a hard coded path that makes installing on another drive impossible.

Before I tried to install Glidepath agian, but this time on C: drive, I first removed Glidepatch becuase it looked some parts did install during the failing attempt. However, after the uninstall of Glidepath I noticed that I wasn't able to install it again. This was related to a missing "Guidance Automation Toolkit dll". To solve this issue I had to repair the Guidance Automation Extensions and the Guidance Automation Toolkit (both were needed). It looks like the Glidepath uninstall removes some of these dlls.

    Hope this helps.

    Edward
